How do you raise awareness of a global sports conference with only three months to go?
The challenge
With limited time before the SportAccord International Conference in Dubai, the Council needed to attract global attention and provide world-class facilities for international media.
The solution
C&B managed a 200-seat media centre for five days, 12 hours a day. The team tailored content for international outlets, distributed customised news, and extended invitations to journalists worldwide.
The impact
Over 270 reporters attended daily, generating extensive global coverage. The campaign was so effective that London’s PR agency for SportAccord 2011 visited Dubai to learn from C&B’s approach, and the team received personal letters of appreciation from HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein.
